CT Lung Screening

CT Lung Screening is a low dose CT of the chest designed to replace standard chest Xrays for earlier detection of lung cancer.  Experts hope that earlier detection will translate into earlier treatment and improved outcomes.  This screening technology is capable of detecting small lung nodules that would not be visualized on a routine chest xray.  Patients must have a significant history of tobacco or asbestos exposure.

No special prep is required.
Minimum age 40.
